Concept
A brand film for Beachman Bikes, a Toronto-based electric-bike company that blends vintage motorcycle design with modern engineering. The goal was to channel the brand’s nostalgic, slow-cruise identity into a moody, soulful commercial that feels more like a memory than an ad.
Story & Approach
The original edit leaned too fast and commercial, losing the relaxed, analog energy the brand is known for. My approach was to completely re-pace the spot—slowing cuts, holding moments longer, and letting the visuals breathe.
I re-graded the entire film to lean into soft contrast, muted shadows, and vintage warmth—echoing Beachman’s signature aesthetic and lifestyle imagery. The biggest tonal shift came from music: I replaced the original track with an old-school record that mirrors their Spotify playlist vibe—laid-back, timeless, and effortlessly cool.
The final piece feels less like an ad and more like a summer ride through Toronto’s backstreets—calm, reflective, and emotionally resonant.
