A documentary-style YouTube series created for the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, spotlighting the people and families behind the province’s dairy industry. Each episode brings viewers into the daily rhythm of Ontario farms, showing the balance of tradition, innovation, and unshakable work ethic that defines Canadian dairy.

Story & Approach

I developed the concept for On The Farm from the ground up — crafting interview frameworks, on-site direction, and visual storytelling to humanize the agricultural world for a wider audience.

The first two episodes follow Ashley and Glen Beckett of Beckridge Holsteins — capturing their life as dairy farmers, parents, and business owners. The series blends intimate interviews, cinematic visuals, and authentic sound design to celebrate their resilience and pride in producing Ontario’s milk.

As director and post-production lead, my focus was on honest, emotional storytelling — translating the grit and warmth of farm life into a visual narrative that connects with both farmers and everyday viewers.
