DP: Kofi Yeboah
Agency: Independent
Camera: Canon C80 (pre-release) + Remus Anamorphics
Concept
A spontaneous automotive spec ad for the Ford Bronco Sport, created to test Canon Canada’s unreleased C80 camera. Built in just four days from concept to shoot, Workhorse celebrates grit, adventure, and the raw mechanical soul of the Bronco — a modern beast with classic DNA.
Story & Approach
The film was designed as a visual tone piece — stripped back, tactile, and cinematic. With the C80 in hand before release, the team pushed the camera’s dynamic range and color latitude to the limit, pairing it with Remus anamorphics for that wide, textured cinematic look.
As camera operator, I focused on translating the Bronco’s strength through motion — tight handheld shots, low-angle passes, and dust-heavy details that feel alive. For sound, I layered natural mechanical textures — engine growls, gravel crunch, shifting metal — and built a sonic rhythm that matched the vehicle’s pulse.
