This episode of the On The Farm series takes viewers behind the scenes of Tailes from Westport, a family-run dairy operation in Ontario. We explore the daily grind and the deeper story of how owners Jamie and Ericka got started, why they prioritize sustainability and animal welfare, and how they keep the farm thriving.

Story & Approach

We follow Jamie and Ericka through their routine: milking, herd management, breed selection, and sustainability practices. The visuals combine close-ups of the animals and work, with wider shots of the farm’s environment to ground the narrative. As editor and colorist, I focused on creating a flow that feels both authentic and cinematic — humanising the work while highlighting the precision and care behind it.
